Zimmerit, an anti-magnetic coating used between 1943 and 1944, was applied with specific patterns to prevent magnetic mines from sticking to the surface of armored vehicles. With these applicator tools you can reproduce miniature Zimmerit motifs easily, accurately and realistically. For best results, use Zimmerit paste A-MIG-2037 .For those wishing to learn more about Zimmerit, AMMO's book "ZIMMERIT: The Ultimate Modeling Guide" (in English) A-MIG-6311 offers a wealth of information on historical background, application methods, and painting and aging techniques. With several step-by-step modeling chapters, it is a valuable reference for achieving realistic Zimmerit finishes.
