1/35 R-2 TACAM
The TACAM T-2, an abbreviation of the full designation Tun Anticar pe Afet Mobil R-2 ("Anti-tank gun on R-2 mobile gun mount"), was a Romanian Army tank destroyer used during World War II. It was made by removing the turret from the R-2 light tank and replacing it with a pedestal-like affair, on which the ex-Soviet 76.2 mm ZiS-3 field gun was encased. An armored casemate enclosed on three sides protected the piece and its servants. Twenty examples were built in 1944, of which only one still exists. The vehicles participated in the Budapest offensive and from the Prague offensive.
