1/48 Kamov Ka-27PL Trainer version 3D-Printed & colored Interior on decal paper (Hobby Boss) (Small version)
The Kamov Ka-27 is a twin-turbine multi-role helicopter with three-bladed counter-rotating rotors, designed by the OKB headed by Nikolaj Il'ic Kamov and developed in the Soviet Union in the early 1970s. Initially employed by the Soviet naval aviation, which later became the Russian and Ukrainian naval aviation after 1991, it is also currently in service in Vietnam, South Korea and India. Major variants include the Ka-29, an assault and transport helicopter; the Ka-28, an export version; and the Ka-32 for civilian use.
Initially, the Kamov Ka-27 was designed to replace the Soviet fleet of Kamov Ka-25 helicopters. Similar to the other Kamov helicopters, it uses two coaxial rotors and thus has no need for a tail rotor.
