1/48 Grumman TBF-1 Avenger 3D-Printed & colored Interior on decal paper (Academy)
The Grumman TBF Avenger (in English, Avenger) was a single-engine, low-wing airplane developed in the early 1940s by the U.S. company Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation.
It was the standard embarked airplane of the United States Navy, the U.S. Navy, from June 1942 until the end of World War II. During the same years, it was also employed by the British Fleet Air Arm and the New Zealand Royal New Zealand Air Force.
After the war, due to the huge availability of surplus examples, it was adopted by many of the world's air forces, concluding its operational career in the armed forces of Brazil, Canada, France, Japan, the Netherlands and Uruguay; the last country to decommission the Avenger was Japan in the early 1960s.
1/72 U.S. Navy Torpedo Bomber TBF-1 The Grumman TBF Avenger (designated TBM for aircraft manufactured by General Motors) is an American World War II-era torpedo bomber developed initially for the United States Navy and Marine Corps, and eventually used by several air and naval aviation services around the world.
