1/10 BMW R75/5
The BMW R 75/5 is a West German civilian motorcycle first introduced to the public in 1969. Its mass production began in the same year and continued until 1973. Propulsion was provided by a 750 cm3 twin-cylinder engine, which generated a maximum power output of 50 hp, enabling the vehicle to accelerate up to 177 km/h. The BMW R 75/5 model belonged to the BMW/5 series of motorcycles that went on sale or were introduced in the period 1969-1970. They were characterized by the use of air-cooled 2-cylinder boxer engines with a displacement of 500, 600, and 750 cm3. It is worth adding that one of the main factories producing this series of motorcycles was located in West Berlin. The BMW R 75/5 also had a 4-speed pedal transmission and drum brakes on the front and rear wheels. In 1974 the / 6 series, which replaced the / 5 series, appeared in BMW's offerings.
