1/72 Chevrolet C60L Office Lorry
CMP C60 was a World War II military truck produced in Canada belonging to the class of trucks known in English as Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) trucks. Vehicles of this type were designed in the period 1936-1940 and their mass production lasted during the years 1940-1945. Machines CMP C60s were mainly produced by General Motors Canada and Chevrolet plants. Most often they were powered by engines with a capacity of 3.5 liters and a maximum power output of 85 hp. The load capacity of CMP C60 vehicles was 3 tons.
They also had all-wheel drive (4x4). Vehicle design The Canadian military model was developed in the 1930s and from the beginning it was assumed that this type of vehicle would be used by the Canadian and British armies, but also by other British Commonwealth forces.
From the beginning it was also assumed their maximum unification. Mass production began on a large scale after the defeat of the BEF at Dunkirk in the summer of 1940. It is worth adding that the CMP C60 was produced in several versions, including: C60S (basic version), C60L (extended wheelbase version) or C60X (six-wheel drive 6x6 version).
