1/72 AMX Ghibli 32nd Wing Fighter Wing
'70 Years For The Fatherland'
The International AMX (called Ghibli in the Italian Air Force) is a single-engine, high-wing, arrowhead jet ground attack aircraft produced in Italy and Brazil since the 1980s and still in operation.
Created as a result of a requirement by the Aeronautica Militare and Força Aérea Brasileira for a tactical support aircraft (CAS, Close Air Support), and to Italian specifications, it is the natural replacement for the G-91Y. It was acquired by the Air Force in 110 examples, along with 26 two-seater (AMX-T) examples.
Production was distributed among Aeritalia (46.5%), Aermacchi (23.8%) and Embraer (29.7%), with the development of 6 prototypes.
