1/48 Anson Mk.I (for Airfix)
The Avro 652A Anson was a twin-engine, multirole, low-wing aircraft developed by the British aviation company A.V. Roe and Company (Avro) in the early 1930s.
It was primarily employed by two British armed forces, the Royal Air Force, the air force, and the Fleet Air Arm, the aviation component of the Royal Navy (Navy), and by numerous other air forces during World War II and in the immediate postwar period.
Initially designed for maritime reconnaissance, it was named after Royal Navy Admiral George Anson, however, it is best remembered by the nickname by which it was christened amicably by its crews, the faithful Annie, in reference to its reputation as a docile and reliable machine.
The major use of the Anson 652A was as a multi-engine trainer. By the end of its production in 1952, as many as 8138 examples had been built in various versions by Avro, England, and 2882 by Federal Aircraft Ldt. in Canada, beginning in 1941.
The Anson was used by the airforces of a great many states, both Commonwealth and non-Commonwealth, such as Saudi Arabia, Australia, Afghanistan, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Norway, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Rhodesia, South Africa, Turkey, and the U.S.

Go to cart1/48 Avro Anson Mk.I (for Airfix)L' Avro Anson è un velivolo multiruolo bimotore britannico costruito dal produttore di aeromobili Avro .
