1/12 McLaren MP4/2C Prost/Rosberg
The McLaren MP4/2 was the sixteenth single-seater of the McLaren Formula 1 team, which raced from 1984 to 1986, albeit with evolved versions, resulting in the car with the most wins to its credit.
Driven by Niki Lauda, later replaced by Keke Rosberg in 1986, and Alain Prost it managed to win both the drivers' and constructors' titles. The car was designed by John Barnard and was powered by the powerful 1,500 cm³ V6 TAG Porsche TTE PO1 engine supercharged by 2 turbochargers; initially it had a race output of about 600 hp, but in later evolutionary steps it reached 715 hp, while in qualifying configuration it reached peaks of over 800 hp. The chassis was made of carbon fiber, like the previous MP4/1.
