1/32 OV-10A Bronco Exhaust (Kitty Hawk)
The North American OV-10 Bronco is a twin-engine, high-wing monoplane military aircraft with COIN (Counter Insurgence, counter-insurgency) duties produced by the U.S. company North American Aviation in the 1960s and 1970s and still in service.
It made its first flight in July 1965, and immediately 271 examples were ordered between the USAF (157) and U.S. Marine Corps (114). When the Bronco began to prove obsolete in the early 1990s, it was exported to various countries, including Morocco, the Philippines, Indonesia and Venezuela.
Comparable only with the FMA IA-58 Pucará, the OV-10 is distinguished by the space created for a team of parachutable or disembarkable raiders of choice, not present in the Argentine-built peer, while the structure provides excellent visibility.
