1/48 Hanriot HD.2 Weekend Edition
The Hanriot HD.2 was a single-engine, single-seat, biplane, boot-mounted hydrocock developed by the French aviation company Société Anonyme des Appareils d'Aviation Hanriot in the 1910s.
Derived from the earlier Hanriot HD.1, it was made to replace the British Sopwith Baby in service with the Marine nationale, the French navy, during the final stages of World War I.
Adopted by the French navy and the U.S. navy, the United States Navy, it remained in service after the end of the conflict.
A number of variants with different motorization were derived from the model, however none started mass production.
